Transcriptions for Wind Band/Concert Band

A Child’s Christmas is a short suite of connected movements, originally composed for orchestra, but now available for concert band with optional choral parts. Festive Overture The Joy of Christmas is also an orchestral piece, originally commissioned by the CBSO and Chorus, and here skilfully transcribed for concert band by Paul Noble, by arrangement with Faber.

Both pieces are eminently suited for inclusion in Christmas concerts, and may be performed with or without a choral element.

At the time of writing, Paul is working on transcriptions for band of some of the composer’s new carol settings, published by Oxford University Press, including Noel! and Rise up, Shepherd.
